Description
Golky is the traditional instrument of Tharu cast in Udaypur
district(esp.) but is played by Tharus in other districts
too the inner part of bamboo is taken out and leather is
hammered in it. A wire is tightened from tip to bottom. It
can produce several melodious tunes if played properly.
