 ◊  PATAN Festivals  2065  ◊

Huge and memorable, Yala Mahotsav 2065 was celebrated from Ashwin 10-14, 2065 in Patan Durbar Square, Lalitpur along with the whole city. More than two hundred thousands visitors mesmerized for the strength and beauty lived with Patan, Lalitpur dwellers since ancient times. Overlapped on the celebration of World Toursim Day 2008, Jyapu Samaj – the organizers were supposed to be displaying the life of Jyapu (farmers) of Patan, lalitpur. With the name Yala, the celebration could not shrink to a particular caste but swept away all Yala people either as organizers or as visitors.
